Currently in final build stage, this beautiful L2 (long wheelbase) campervan has had a full conversion to the highest standard and will be ready for its new owner in the next couple of weeks.

At Plug and Roam, we specialise in low mileage Electric campervans, that will last for many years to come. Specifically we use the Stellantis vans, the Vauxhall Vivaro, Peugeot Expert, Citroen Dispatch, Toyota Proace and Fiat Scudo.

We choose these vans because they offer the best electric experience, fit in a standard car parking space and most importantly under a 2m height restriction, even with the poptop roof, so you can use them everyday as your main vehicle and save a fortune on fuel too. Plus they have a great 200 mile range (and we have tested this and can squeeze even more if we drive it the right way). But looking to the future, the batteries on this vehicle are easy to replace, so you can keep this van running for years to come.

We build the vans we want ourselves, starting with very low mileage tidy vans, not a tired van that has already had a hard working life with lots of miles. This one is simply the best you will find and with less than 10k miles it drives like new.

The interior has had a full conversion, fully insulated using recycled and sustainable materials, then fully lined in Anthracite luxury carpet, there is no bodywork visible from inside the van, creating a warm luxury feel. A beautiful and hard wearing oak veneer floor, worktop and splash back, look fantastic and give a real quality feel.

The elegant grey low level kitchen unit, gives more workspace and opens up the van far better than the traditional full height cupboard at the back matching the exterior and seat stitching, while being beautifully lit from the low power LED strips.

The elegantly finished rock and roll bed and matching front seats are upholstered in black with grey double diamond stitching with matching piping and use a fixed frame with gas strut assistance making it effortless to convert to bed or seats, while the cantilever operation means only the top moves, preventing damage to the floor.

The pop top roof has capacity to sleep 2, with windows and vents to make it nice and comfortable. And during the day you can stand inside while cooking in that beautiful kitchen.

The electrical system is of the highest specification. A full Renogy system with huge 300A (3840W) capacity Lithium leisure battery powers lighting, the fridge freezer and a multitude of USB sockets in the van. Connected to a 3kw inverter, you can power anything you are likely to need, microwave, air fryer, kettle, anything you can use at home you can use in the van. And not just for a few minutes, the huge battery means you can run a typical microwave or air fryer for nearly 3 hours from a full charge. And a full charge is never far away - with a large solar panel on the roof and high spec MPPT solar charger, a typical days use can be replenished through the day with average sunlight. You can leave the fridge freezer on permanently, with the solar alone maintaining a full charge.

A display and bluetooth connectivity will show you exactly how much capacity is left, the rate of discharge or charge and even includes a levelling system so you can make sure you are setup for the best nights sleep.

A clever charging system means when the vehicles driving battery is being charged, the leisure battery is also being charged. And too when driving the leisure battery is trickle charged with no impact on range.

A regular electric hookup is also included, so you can plug the van into the mains at home or a campsite and charge the battery and run the internal 240v sockets.

A high specification van that you will never need to upgrade. It has everything you are likely to need. Most conversion companies will stop there having created a lovely van.

But at Plug and Roam we want to create not just a lovely interior, we want the exterior to match. So, we have given this van a Sportive front end with a full Irmsher bodykit, upgraded to a full LED headlight system and then wrapped the whole van with the highest quality 3M wrap in Matte Metallic Grey. And to finish it off, we have added the correct load rated 19" bronze finish alloy wheels and brand new tyres.

And we haven't just transformed the bits you can see with a standard wrap, we have made sure that every door shut has had a full colour change, so when you get in it all matches perfectly.
