Former keepers on V5 = 7 (owner before me had for 1 month then got offered a job abroad. Owner before him – His friend and Volvo enthusiast owned it for 5 years).

I’ve owned her for 10 wonderful years (Bought on 25/07/16 on 115K to replace my mint C4S 911 - Just had my first daughter so had to be sensible). I'd been looking for a manual V70R for over a year. This one had the best service history by far with 14 stamps in 2016.

2003 year also just made the cheaper road tax Vs the 04-06 models.

4 x Michelin Pilot Sport 4 (235/40 R18 Y95) = £464.60 (Feb 2020).

All Wheels Blast Coated at Prestige Wheels in Bury = £320 (Sept 2021).

In Total I've spent £14,015 - In Parts, Labour & Servicing keeping her in great shape over the last 10 years.

Miscellaneous:

New Bigger Battery = £159 (Dec 2020)

When I bought her I had a blended remap for mid-range torque and all the wheels blast coated = £500 - I can’t find receipt (Was at Performance Blue in Trafford in 2016).

Also replaced a used headlight and the ballast £750 (2019). Eventually that one also got moisture so bought a brand new one (receipt in paperwork).

There are other bits I’ve done along the way but the important things are listed.

All expensive things have been done - Ceramic G3 Glasscoat at Finer Detailing (They do all cars I've had - see their website for pics), Various Sensors, Clutch & Slave Cylinder, Cambelt x 2, Water Pump, Intercooler, Air Con Condenser, Brakes, Discs, Bushes, Suspension, The Best Tyres, Wheels Refurbed twice.

Negatives:

She's beautiful for 23 years old with the usual stone chip imperfections as expected (tried to show all in pics) but the other things I’d planned on getting around to were, the front seats dark blue dye waxed by leather specialist (£250) and the stone chips fixed (£300 quoted for bonnet and a few other places). £350 for full bumper respray. Hardly noticeable unless close up when detailing at weekends. This is a perfectionist level, so not needed.

Reason for selling:

I bought my life goal: a DBA R35 GTR.

Pretty disappointed I have to part with my beautiful V70R. I wanted to keep her for many more years but my wife wants to keep her Skoda Octavia estate! I can’t convince her to have my pride and joy and I can't justify running 3 cars when I work from home and my wife looks after our family full time.

I’d like first refusal to buy her back if you choose to sell it in future (as long as you keep up the impeccable annual servicing to ensure it stays the best looking and maintained V70R in the UK). I treat my cars like one of my children.

It's the best car I've ever owned, it does everything so well and gracefully. Very fast, Solid, Adjustable factory suspension at the push of a button, Spacious for family life, Safe for my kids and above all..... Beautiful from every single angle!
