This Citroen e-C4 E-Series is the range-topping special edition of Citroen's stylish electric hatchback. It's finished in black with a contrasting Perla Nera Black roof, the Dark Chrome Colour Pack and 18 inch Aeroblade alloy wheels, and it's presented in stunning condition.
What sets this one apart is the factory-fitted heat pump. Rather than warming the cabin with a power-hungry electric heater running straight off the battery, it works like air conditioning in reverse, drawing warmth from the outside air and the drivetrain. It uses around a third of the energy to keep you warm, so you keep far more of your range through the winter. It's the option to look for on an electric car, and plenty of e-C4s were built without one.
The 50kWh battery gives an official range of up to 221 miles. The 7.4kW onboard charger will fill it overnight at home, and it takes rapid charging for longer journeys. The 134bhp electric motor is smooth, quiet and quick off the line, and Citroen's Advanced Comfort suspension and seats make it one of the most relaxing cars in its class.
For complete peace of mind, we've had the battery independently tested by Generational and it returned a perfect 100% state of health, with the cells very evenly balanced. It also benefits from the remainder of Citroen's 8-year/100,000-mile battery warranty, with six years still to run.
The E-Series spec is outstanding. You get a head-up display, Highway Driver Assist, blind spot detection, front, rear and side parking sensors with a reversing camera, and keyless entry and start. Inside there are heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, wireless phone charging, the Citroen HiFi system, touchscreen navigation, dual zone climate control and an auto-dimming rear view mirror. Intelligent Beam LED headlights, LED fog lights with cornering function and rain sensing wipers complete the package, and you can pre-heat or cool the cabin remotely before you set off.
As an electric car it's ULEZ compliant with zero tailpipe emissions. We've prepared it for sale with our own extensive checks.
