The Good (Major Mechanicals Done):

Mechanically proactive ownership with over £10k spent since purchase.

IMS bearing replaced, Rear Main Seal (RMS) replaced, coil packs, front suspension control rods, and new brake discs & pads. Engine runs smooth with zero unwanted noises.

Owned for past 10 years adding just 10k miles and FSH since I purchased.

Kept covered and on permanent trickle charge.

Never used for track days.

Hydraulic steering rack showing very early signs of play (will eventually require refurbishment/replacement).

Front bumper has typical paint cracking on the nose cone (needs respray).

Small scuff on driver's front wing and minor door-ding dent on rear wing (ideal candidate for PDR) due to other careless drivers.

Original head unit has corroded so radio/ CD not currently working. Easily sorted with new head unit / Carplay. Have not replaced as prefer to listen to the engine.

Sagging headliner interior fabric (typical 987 trait needing re-gluing).

An exceptionally solid, low-mileage Cayman with all major Porsche reliability bugs already eliminated, ready for a light cosmetic refresh.
