For sale is my Honda Accord Euro R CL7, Finished in Premium White Pearl (NH624P)

The Honda was imported by Torque GT in 2019. The car was a graded 4B at the auction house in Japan which is very good for a car of this age. Torque GT carried out their excellent import preparation and 130 point inspection, with service including belts, bushes, plugs, oil and filter, tyres and speedometer conversion from 132,880 km to 82,567 miles. This is verified with a Certificate of Mileage Verification from BIMTA. The car was also fully undersealed including cavity injection. The previous keeper took ownership on 29th October 2019 and was the first UK owner. He, like me, was a real enthusiast. He had the Honda had fully serviced at TGM Sport Racing on 18 September 2020 at 87545 miles. I purchased the car from him on 12the October 2020 when the car was showing just 88,135 miles.

This is a genuine enthusiast owned example with tasteful, high quality modifications and a full service history. I had a really strong idea of what I wanted to achieve with this car. The idea was that this was to be my ‘keeper’ car for many years to come. Sadly for me, life had other plans...

I have all of the original Japanese paperwork including the maintenance notes and service reports, brochures and handbooks.

I believe that I have carried out some tasteful modifications whilst trying to maintain the authenticity of the JDM Specification. As such, items like the Electronic Toll Collection (ETC), GPS antennas and TV aerials remain as this is how I wanted to keep the car. The stereo is a Pioneer Carrozzeria AVIC-MRZ99 Touch screen MD player which is age appropriate but very high end for its day (2006). I have added Bluetooth integration into this for added convenience.

The car pulls exceptionally well in VTEC, and sounds and drives exactly how a Euro R should do. The GruppeM filter does change the tone somewhat, but only for the better. There is no smoke, no vibrations and no rattles when driving the car, even under load. The car has only ever been run on Shell V-Power since arriving in the UK and has always been allowed to warm up properly. This is helped by the useful addition of the Defi oil temperature gauge. Oil pressure is also excellent as can be seen on the gauge.

The rest of the specification is as standard on the Euro R with the exception of the Premium White Pearl paint which was a ¥31,500 factory option.

The car has been very well maintained throughout its ownership and wants for nothing mechanically.

Condition

The car is in excellent condition. There are very few marks on the exterior of the car conducive with a carefully looked after car of this age. This is one of the nicest colours on any car I have seen. Especially in the sunlight. It really suits the JDM look and is arguably the best colour for the Euro R.

The car has been fully treated underneath with Torque GTs underseal and latterly with Lanoguard anti corrosion treatment in the last month. I carried out this process myself. There were no horrors lurking underneath and everything was in very good order as can be seen from the pictures. I prefer this method of protection as it allows the ability to see any issues arising whilst still offering excellent protection.

Both front and rear bumpers and both side skirts have also been removed during my ownership. This was to provide access for further cleaning and corrosion prevention. Every panel I have ever removed has never presented any concerns or issues.

There are some very small age-related marks to the lower front bumper and a couple of tiny stone chips on the front of the bonnet but I am being very picky here. The car is in very clean condition both inside and out. For its age and mileage it is clear that the car has been very well looked after by all owners.

The interior of the car (including all door shuts) is incredible for a car that is over 22 years old. All seats are in excellent condition. Even the driver’s seat bolster shows the very minimum of wear. The headlining is intact with no signs of sagging (a common fault on these). Please look at the pictures to try and appreciate the condition. Everything works as it should. Air-conditioning is ice cold. All electrics work and the stereo sounds superb with its aftermarket dash mounted tweeters and upgraded amplifier. Again, all of these modifications are age appropriate and in keeping with the JDM style. Even the fog light switch and USB charging point compliment this as much as possible.

The car has been put through six MOT tests during my ownership and passed every time without ever receiving one, single advisory. The latest test having just been carried out on 17 Sept 2026. The MOT tester commented on how clean the car was after conducting the most recent MOT.

This is the best car I have ever owned. I bought it when I was made redundant and fully intended to keep it forever. The maintenance and care have been meticulous with a view to keeping the car for a long time. I did have other modifications planned with a strong view of what I wanted to achieve. Everything from the wheels and tyres to the Minidisc player stereo. I love the JDM authenticity of the car. I have been careful to look after it (as did the previous owner), from letting the car warm up properly, to not driving in the rain and only using the best fuel and oils available. I come from a 35 year engineering background so was confident and happy to carry out my own service. I only used genuine Honda parts and Millers CFS NT+ 5W40 oil.

I used to import and sell DC5s a few years ago (before they were famous) so I have driven lots of different sports Hondas. And they are all really great cars. But this Accord is so much better. For me at least. It is so much more refined and practical. It is so versatile and forgiving whilst providing the practicality that the Integra simply could not. It has never seen the track (although it really ought to!) and provides Honda’s bulletproof reliability. If you are reading this, then you will likely know all about what sets this apart from other Accords. I can honestly say that I prefer this over every other import I have ever driven. It really does need to be seen to be fully appreciated and gets looks and compliments wherever I go. Only the AE86 has ever come close for ‘smiles per miles’ ratio. For me at least.

The hardest part has been pricing this car.

The Euro R has not achieved the value that I believe it is worth yet. But I am confident that they will.

Prices can vary from £8500 up to £26,000! That is crazy for a car in such short production.

The price is set at £12,500 which I think is fair for such a good example.
