2008 FERRARI 612 SCAGLIETTI

Introduced in 2004 as the successor to the 456, the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti continued Maranello’s long tradition of elegant, front-engined V12 grand tourers. Powered by a naturally aspirated 5.7-litre V12 producing 533 bhp, it offered effortless performance, with 0–62 mph taking just over four seconds and a top speed approaching 200 mph.

What really sets the 612 apart is its ability to combine that performance with genuine everyday usability. With four proper seats, a generous luggage compartment and a beautifully appointed cabin, it is a Ferrari equally suited to covering long distances as it is to a Sunday morning drive. Now increasingly appreciated for its understated Pininfarina styling, naturally aspirated V12 and analogue character, the 612 represents a hugely appealing modern Ferrari GT.

This left-hand drive example was supplied new through Cornes & Co Ltd in Japan in April 2008 and is tastefully finished in Nero Daytona over a Cuoio leather interior.

Its factory specification includes Yellow Brake Callipers, Scuderia Shields, Cuoio Carpets, Nero Leather Dashboard Inserts, Dark Painted Aluminium Trim, Yellow Rev Counter, Bianco Contrast Stitching, Electrochromic Mirrors, TV Tuner and Bose HiFi System.

The car was imported into the United Kingdom and registered here in 2010 and has remained with its current owner for the past five years. Now showing just 19,850 miles, it has been regularly serviced and maintained throughout its life, with a substantial history file containing a large number of invoices and servicing documents.

Combining a wonderful Nero Daytona over Cuoio colour combination with the effortless performance of Ferrari’s naturally aspirated V12, this well-specified 612 Scaglietti represents a highly usable modern Ferrari GT and a great addition to any collection.
