Description

Superlight R No. 22 is quite possibly the best example of a Superlight R to become available in recent years. This car was part of a private collection for over 20 years before being released and re-commissioned for the next owner. The current owner has spent a significant amount of money on the car with a view to taking part in track days but has decided the car is too nice. He has now purchased a 310R race car.

After the initial re-commissioning work the car was brought to PT to make it more track focused and reliable for on track use. The did a shakedown at Donington Park where it ran without fault before the owner decided to go racing. The original purchase invoice and specification sheet is with the history file and the car comes with a screen, doors and hood.

1.8 K Series engine with Rover throttle bodies and VHPD head. PT have added an Apollo tank

This car needs to be seen to be appreciated and whilst it is the most expensive Superlight R to hit the used market, it is worth every penny.
