2005 ALFA ROMEO 156

What a find! This is something that so rarely comes along, with only around 110 UK cars sold, this is an absolute gem having covered only 49,000 miles. It really is one for the collector.

This GTA Sportwagon was UK supplied then shipped to Guernsey where it spent the majority of its life; it was then re-imported back to the UK a few years ago. So the life it has led has been pampered and low mileage.

GTA wagons are such a cool and usable car and most have been used up, I was even guilty of that; school runs, tip runs and dog walks as well the odd track day but that is what they were designed for and they did the job so well as a compact estate car. To find an example like this that has survived all these years is a rarity. I’m actuallytempted to keep this one for myself.

This particular example is presented in the classic shade of Alfa Red with black leather. The exterior condition is superb throughout, it really is very nice with no corrosion to be found anywhere. The underside reflects the same level of care and has been professionally undersealed to a great standard (please ignore the MOT notes staying it has been ‘heavily undersealed’ as this is not the case). I’ll let the pictures of the underside do the talking.

It’s never been welded, it remains completely stock, even with the standard stock exhaust system still fitted. All the arch liners are in nice condition (these are impossible to source these days). It literally presents like a 5 year old car.Even the engine bay is untouched and has not been messed with. We are due to carry out a fully timing belt service on this car prior to sale so we will carry out a sympathetic and original restoration of the engine bay during this work and bring it back to its former glory. Not that it’s desperately needed but we want to make it as good as it can be. Any other jobs that are required will be carried out prior to delivery to its new owner so this GTA wagon will have a completely clean bill of health, and we really to prep our GTAs to the highest standard being the UKs leading GTA specialist.

The factory differential still remains, and if required we can fit a Quaife or Q2 differential for its new custodian should they wish. We can cater to whatever your requirements are. It has recently been fitted with a new clutch.

The specification is excellent too, with it being fitted with a factory sunroof, xenon headlamps, upgraded 330mm Brembo brakes amongst all the usual GTA specification. The private reg is also included.

It is supplied with 2 keys, a fresh MOT and complete book pack etc.

All in all this is very rare opportunity to acquire possibly the lowest mile 156 GTA UK Sportwagon.
