1997 TVR

Look past the mileage! and you will see a car that has probably been better cared for than one with half the miles on. This is an excellent example of a very much loved TVR. I've owned it since August 2012 and Im a very active member of the TVR club locally. You will see that I have spent far too much money on her to get it how I wanted, alas she must go as I need to make room for my next TVR project. This car was originally bought as a 4ltr, however the itch for more power soon developed and I have upgraded it to a 5 ltr. The car is as follows:

Engine:

Fully rebuilt engine in April 2013, has done 4000 miles completed since, work carried out:

Stealth Cam

ACT blue inlet Elbow

ACT Blue pipes

Magnecor blue leads

Upgraded 280cc injectors

Carbonfibre trumpets

Upgraded Power Steering hoses (original hoses have a tendency to leak)

Mark Adams map on rolling road with Tornado Chip and its very quick Chim

Full decatted and sleeved exhausts, it is very loud and great pops/bangs on over run!

Additional 'catted' Y Piece included to ensure MOT pass

Replacement radiator September 2012

Hot start kit added

Acumate trickle charger hardwired in car

Inside:

Magnolia and blue

Brand new Leven dash and handbrake

MX5 seats with new seat runners, original seats included in sale

Head unit has Bluetooth connectivity for calls and music

All electrics work as they should

Outside:

17" Team Dynamics wheels with brand new Toyos all round

Front end respray completed in September 2013 to get rid of stone chips

Car comes with Protech shocks all round

Car has just been completely professional detailed by Demon Finishers in Kemble

Outriggers replaced by previous owner

Outriggers and sub frame have just been rubbed back, treated with clear under seal and given a clean bill of health

Brand new rear pads

New fuel filter

Most of the above work has been carried out by Neil Garner Performance Engineering and all receipts held to confirm work has been carried out.

Just been serviced and ready to go for Summer. MOT expires 19th August 2014

Now the bad parts:

Front nearside wheel scuffed

Leather on passenger side door has small nicks in roughly an inch long

There is a very small chip next to the boot lid

Driver and passenger carpets could do with replacing in the future but are ok at present

Stitching on hood top right hand corner has come loose 2 inches in length

The car has service history for 1999-2003, 2007.2012,2013 and 2014. This is really irrelevant as the engine has been fully rebuilt last year, however, I know someone will ask.
