81k milesMOT til September 2027No Faults - roof keeps the rain out!1.8 basic spec - as lightweight as it getshandles great as it should - 4 x Avon ZV7 tyres - the same type I used racing the MK1 before we switched to Kuhmos (Avons are better)braided brake lines on the front - new pads and discs and new caliper - suitable for fast road - but personally I'd change for frequent track use.-aftermarket JVC android auto stereo (still have the original which can go with the car)
no service book - I've kept it well serviced last few years (belt and pulley change, brake fluid, oil, filters, whatever it's needed).-paint on the passenger door is dulled - looks like a previous owner scrubbed it with something! Paint not really my priority so never got around to fixing it. It may get hit with some t-cut and a buffing wheel... It may not.
Its a bit rusty in places - nothing to worry an MOT but some suspension bits (not the aluminium ones!) might need replacing in next few years depending on where you keep it/drive itI race mk1s and wanted a road mk3, it has been great but i just don't drive it enough (1000 miles in the last year). I'd also like more machinery for our smallholding but the wife says I need to remove some machines before I get more. She doesn't like the lighter weight (stock afaik) flywheel & not a massive convertible fan so has to go. Also recent MOT failure was from brakes just not being used enough, sticking caliper warping disk - replaced all that but reminded me I'm not really using it.yes I realise Autumn not the best time of year to sell a convertible - but a quad bike & compact tractor would be super useful.any questions just ask.Test drives - will need license and day insurance - or I'm happy to drive.
