EXTERIOR

A real rarity is this super-cute Daihatsu Copen which has covered just 12,675 miles from new with one owner! Finished in factory original Silver Metallic, (Code S28), the paint finish is outstanding and entirely in line with the amazing credentials. A bright polished shine and uniform finish adorns the pin straight bodywork whereby nothing other than a few frontal touched in stone chips and one scratch can be seen. The clever light-weight aluminium retractable hard top electrically operates in just 20 seconds and features a heated glass rear screen. All trim, lights and trim are perfectly preserved and all original dealer branding to number plates and glass remain. The clean underside is in excellent structural condition reflective of the garage storage and fair-weather low mileage usage. A fabulous open top pocket rocket sure to turn heads!

INTERIOR

A high specification of equipment crammed into a very compact car. The one and only owner specified the expensive Leather Pack as a factory option which gave you heated seats in Red leather as well as a MOMO genuine black and red leather steering wheel. Commensurate with 12,675 miles from new, the interior is in pristine condition. The vibrant red leather upholstery is spotlessly clean and the leather hide is free from damage or fading. Matching door cards are perfect as are the carpets and roof lining. A wealth of fully functioning equipment includes ice-cold air conditioning as well as the original Clarion DB189RMP CD/MP3 stereo with Auxiliary socket. Beautifully well cared for throughout.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

The fantastic free-revving 16v four-cylinder engine displaces 1298cc and features chain driven camshaft and electronic multi-point fuel injection. In such a lightweight car at just 850kg, this compact 86bhp engine is surprisingly lively with 0-62mph in just 9.5 seconds and a top speed of 112mph. Lift the feather-weight bonnet to reveal the pristine engine bay with all factory plates, labels and bulkhead chassis stamp clearly visible. The sporty short-throw five-speed manual gear box suits the car perfectly and offer rapid nimble changes for super-fun driving.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES

Unique to the Daihatsu Copen are stunning diamond cut alloy wheels which are pristine still shod in the original Bridgestone 165/50 R15 tyres. Whilst collectors will be delighted to see factory fitted tyres, it would be prudent to replace them, while keeping the originals, if spirited driving is intended. Anti-lock brakes with Electronic Brake-force Distribution operate precisely having been subject to service and overhaul in October 2026.

HISTORY FILE

Supplied new by Daihatsu authorised dealer, Jefferies in Stowmarket, this example was registered on the 10th September 2009. The first and only owner, Mrs Mann, has covered a mere 12,675 miles and despite the low mileage the car has had 16 services, the first 10 of which were at the supplying Daihatsu dealer! Most recently, a major service was carried out in October 2026. The original Daihatsu black leather wallet, still contained within its clear protective bag, houses all handbooks and service book with 16 stamps as well as both sets of keys with dealer fobs. A large folder holds all corresponding service invoices and check sheets and previous MOT certificates for every single year dating back to the first in 2012 to fully warrant the mileage. Both sets of keys with supplying dealer key ring and remote fob are present as well as the supplying dealer tax disc holder. Credentials of one owner, 12,675 miles, unrestored and with substantial history are unlikely to be repeated. Dare to be different with this rare micro-roadster!
