The third McLaren to receive the longtail treatment, it was inspired by the 675LT and F1 GTR LT, and features a longer body as well as improved aerodynamics, courtesy of an an extended front splitter and rear diffuser, new side sills, and a fixed rear wing for increased downforce.It has a modified carbon fibre monocoque, as well as a carbon fibre roof, cantrails and front fenders, which results in 98 kg of saved weight when compared to the 570S on which it is based.
