1997 PORSCHE 911

This C08 Japanese supplied 993 Carrera S was produced during October 1996 and first registered in Japan during January 1997. The history file is one of the strongest parts of the car, beginning with its original Japanese delivery inspection at just 43 km and continuing through a series of recorded inspections and maintenance entries before its export to the UK during 2014.

The Japanese records document the car at 2,666 km in June 1997, 12,575 km in 1998, 41,633 km in 2000 and just over 56,000 km by the time it left Japan. Once in the UK, the history continues with specialist attention from Williams Crawford and Ninemeister, including servicing, chassis work and later a major service in July 2022.

More recently, Porsche Centre High Wycombe carried out further work during 2026, including a minor service, brake fluid change, spark plugs and replacement front and rear brake discs and pads. The accompanying inspection and rectification records also document attention to age-related items rather than leaving them for the next owner to address.

Finished in Glacier White with a Classic Grey partial leather interior, the specification is nicely judged for a Carrera S, with the sports/lowered chassis, 17-inch wheels, Litronic headlights and air conditioning all present from new. Combined with the depth of the Japanese and UK history, this is a very well-documented 993 Carrera S with a particularly clear story behind it.
