2003 TVR

Offering for sale my 2003 Tuscan S. Reflex Green with Portland and Purple full hide. Just 19,000 miles from new. The car was fully recommissioned in 2020 by the ex-factory team at Surface & Design, fully repainted in its original Reflex Green, and fully re-trimmed by D&C Trim. I understand the cost was over £20,000.

The re-trim is a true “full hide” trim, including door cards and headlining; even the rear light shrouds in the boot are leather trimmed. The bonnet has the opening conversion carried out with upgraded aluminium struts, the air con pipework housings are also glassed and refinished in the body colour as an improvement to the factory set up. The car has the original factory head unit, DAB tuner and 6 CD changer.

Extensive service history mainly with James Agger, who supplied the car to me; the engine is original and not rebuilt, but uses no oil and is running superbly. Engine, suspension and exhaust wise, the car is factory standard and original. I have everything back to new, including bill of sale, TVR heritage certificate, even factory build photos that were kindly provided to me by the original owner Paul. The reg PE03 TVR has been on the car from brand new, never retained. This will therefore stay with the car, as it rightly should.

I have fitted a battery brain which allows for remote battery isolation, I do this with all of my T cars for the extra security and safety it brings. It also negates any need for trickle charging. I have fitted machined rear window clips. The paintwork had a correction process carried out and a GTechniq Crystal Serum ceramic coating applied around 3 months ago.

It is a 23 year old TVR, and with the utmost transparency in mind, there are a few small points to note as there are with all of them. Firstly the car has a very small scuff underneath the NS lower headlight, about the size of a little fingernail. The roof area around the locating pins has the usual nicks where the roof is lifted on and off, like almost all Tuscans do. The driver’s window skips a little as it opens and closes. That is about all I could really fault the car on.

At the asking price of £44,995, I will have a service carried out for the new owner and a renewed 12 month MOT. The car is currently SORNed as it’s just not high on my list of priorities at the moment, hence the sale. The mileage therefore won’t increase. Any questions more than welcome, I am a long term TVR owner and enthusiast of over 15 years and this car is certainly the finest Tuscan I have owned.
