Description
109,000 miles / extensive service history / 5 previous owners / Both keys / HPI Clear.
Lapis blue exterior with savanna leather & 18" Turbo S wheels (996 generation). I believe these were specified from new. They are hollow spoke, lightweight wheels, much wider than the standard 996 alloys. Looks wise they really set the car apart & help to provide immense grip & handling capability.
The interior has undergone full seat restoration including backdated checker inserts & Porsche emblem embossed to the centre console. The seat frames were rebuilt & strengthened during the process & the seat bases are ultra comfortable, they feel like new.
All work has been carried out at specialist service centres. Mostly Williams Crawford at Saltash & R to RSR (Andy Hornby) at Honiton.
The suspension benefits from a full rebuild both front & rear, replacing the old Bilstein shock absorbers with uprated Koni special active parts. These work with standard springs however, they give a much more refined & tighter feel. Following the suspension rebuild the front arches were treated with Lanoguard and the car underwent full geo at Harvey's Geometry center. The handling is as it should be on a road car of this type.
The exhaust system was fully replaced with a stainless steel upgrade at R to RSR. Andy Hornby (Porsche specialist) carried out extensive maintenance and preventative work during this time. The exhaust looks and sounds fantastic.
Cosmetically the car is very tidy for 20+ years old. It's has had some paintwork, however, all work has been carried out professionally and with attention to detail. You only have to look at the bodywork to appreciate the standard (more pics & walk around available).
The wheels and brakes have been fully refurbished with new Porsch centre caps & Perelli P Zero tyres (good condition). Other cosmetic work includes headlight restoration & Auto Glym paint protection.
Unfortunately, the car is not being used that often and has been sorn during the past few winters. I keep it in dry storage and tend to start the engine and turn the wheels every 2-3 weeks.
Recent MOT & health check completed at Williams Crawford, 08/10/2026. Ignition barrel fault identified - car requires a new ignition barrel.
The vehicle is able to start and run fine, however the ignition barrel does not always switch everything off and can cause a slow battery drain. I have recently fitted a new battery & refurbished the housing. I have however taken the battery off & left on a trickle charge. I initially thought the battery was the problem & replaced it before the MOT. Long and short is the car has an MOT however it requires a new ignition barrel to avoid future issues.
Lastly I will mention the IMS which has no apparent issues and none of the garages I have taken it too have advised replacement - so it has not been tampered with.
