  • OVERVIEW

A low-mileage 2006 BMW X3 2.0d M Sport, meticulously maintained throughout my long-term ownership, with consistent investment in its upkeep.

Purchased directly from BMW Park Lane as an Approved Used vehicle in December 2008, the car has been in my continuous ownership ever since. I’m only parting with it now due to a change in personal circumstances, meaning I no longer need a large SUV.

It has covered just 85,649 miles from new, presents beautifully inside and out, and drives very well.

      • SERVICE HISTORY & UPKEEP:

The car has a full service history, recorded in a fully stamped service book dating back to its pre-delivery check in March 2006. Initially within BMW ownership, the car received its first recorded service at BMW Park Lane in July 2008, before I purchased it from them as an Approved Used vehicle in December 2008.

Throughout my 18 years of ownership, the car has been serviced every two years in accordance with the manufacturer’s schedule, reflecting its low-mileage usage. It has been serviced by BMW Main Dealers, with the most recent service in November 2025 carried out by an independent BMW specialist (an ex-BMW dealer technician). The November 2025 service comprised a Level II inspection and brake-fluid service, meaning the vehicle requires no immediate scheduled maintenance.

The current MOT is valid until 7 December 2026. The last test passed with a minor defect for an inoperative nearside rear registration plate lamp, which was replaced straightaway. A recent pre-MOT inspection by the same independent BMW specialist confirmed the car is ready for its next MOT

The service indicator shows 11,075 miles remaining until the next oil service. No dashboard warning lights are illuminated.

The fully stamped service book is available to review during viewing.

        Key Mechanical Maintenance (Invoices Present):

During my ownership, the transfer case motor has been replaced (resolving a well-known E83 xDrive mechanical vulnerability), and the throttle valve unit, engine glow plugs and engine vibration damper have also been replaced. More recently, three brand-new premium Dunlop Sport tyres have been fitted, with the fourth matching tyre inspected and confirmed to be in very good condition. Supporting invoices for these maintenance works are available to review during viewing.

        COSMETIC CONDITION:

        • Exterior: The Schwarz Black paintwork and M Sport body styling present in very good condition, reflecting its careful, long-term preservation.
        • Interior: The cabin is exceptionally well-kept and clean. The black leather sports seats are in excellent condition, with only a small tear on the driver’s seat bolster. As to be expected with age, there is some wear to these high-touch areas: the trim on the top edges of the gear knob is worn, and there is light wear to the black trim at the bottom of the steering wheel and the edge of the interior driver’s door pull handle. The carpets, dash and headlining remain in great shape.
        • Note on Photos: Overall, the car presents very well. Both the exterior and interior of the car look beautiful in person, and my photos do not do it justice. In-person viewings are highly recommended to appreciate the overall finish.

          SUMMARY

A highly desirable, practical, and meticulously maintained modern classic SUV. It stands as an exceptionally well-preserved example, offering excellent mechanical peace of mind and a brilliant, sure-footed driving experience.
