Description

This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Iconic Sale at the NEC Classic Motor Show 2026 on Saturday the 14th of November, NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT. Estimated price: GBP 100,000 - GBP 120,000. The Ferrari 599 succeeded its predecessor, the 575, in the summer of 2006 and brought the front-engined V12 Grand Tourer into the modern age. Whereas the 550 and 575, even at their introduction, always felt like modern classics, the 599 was every inch a new-age Ferrari. The all-aluminium chassis, F1 SuperFast gearbox, F1-Trac stability and traction control, magnetic semi-active dampers and carbon-ceramic brakes, all wrapped in aggressive, aero-optimised bodywork with minimal overhangs and maximum presence was a mission statement. Top billing, though, went to the engine - a lightly modified version of the Enzo's 6-litre V12 with a mighty 611bhp at 7,600rpm, endowing Ferrari's new series-production flagship with truly sensational performance with 0-62mph in 3.7 seconds and on to a top speed of 205mph. Of the 3,500 Ferrari 599 GTB F1 Fioranos produced globally, the UK's share, as is the norm with right-hand drive Ferraris, amounted to under 10% of the total production.
We are delighted to offer this example supplied by historic Ferrari Maranello Sales of Egham and first registered on 31st October 2008 to a Mr Tuke. It's presented in a fantastic combination of Rosso Monza, a very stylish metallic red with a slight sparkle that sits between a traditional red and a deeper wine hue, with 20” Challenge-style split-rims, ‘Scuderia Ferrari’ shields on the front wings and Giallo brake calipers housing the carbon ceramic brakes.
The driver-focused cockpit is beautifully sculpted in Crema Hide and optioned with the Carbon Fibre Driver Zone (shift-lights on the steering wheel), Nero carpets matching the piping on the monochrome Crema Daytona electric 'Comfort' seats, Giallo instrument panel, Sat Nav, front parking sensors, and a Bose Hi-Fi system.
The history folder contains the 599’s original service book which begins with its supplying dealer stamp and a further 12 service stamps up until the 27th April 2022 all carried out by well known Ferrari entities such as Joe Macari, Meridien Modena, Dick Lovett Ferrari and the aforementioned Marenello Sales. An additional service book details a further four stamped services.
Acquired by our vendor in July of 2022 from Ferrari main dealer, Greypaul of Birmingham, it has subsequently been cared for by marque specialist, Barkaways. The most recent annual service was completed on April 2026 at 22,894 miles and included a full engine oil and filter change, fresh gearbox oil, a full brake fluid flush with all calipers bled, new plugs, air filters, a new Bosch battery and the rear shock absorbers were replaced at the same time. At the time of cataloguing, the odometer displayed just 25,653 miles which included 16 services, suggesting diligent ownership. It is offered with its service book, MOT certificates, an impressive history file and a bespoke car cover.
The Ferrari 599GTB Fiorano stands as a landmark model that successfully brought Ferrari's front-engined V12 flagship into the modern supercar era, bridging the gap between old-school grand tourers and digital performance powerhouses. It took the ferocious heart of the legendary Ferrari Enzo and packaged it into a usable, hyper-fast grand tourer that defined the late 2000s automotive landscape. This is an outstanding and sensibly guided example that would make an excellent entry into the amazing world of front-engined, V12, two-seat Ferraris.
