This LHD FJ Cruiser showing 128,000 kms / 79,500 miles is being sold for and on the behalf of an Australian JAR Car Storage client. Bought new in 2017 from an official Toyota dealer in Chile, it comes with a full service and maintenance history. Bought by our clients to travel in comfort, it enabled them to visit some wonderful destinations. Sadly, due to unexpected illness, our clients were forced to cease their travels and for the last 5 years the car has been looked after by JAR Car Storage. Our clients always hoped to return to continue their travels, but that proved impossible and reluctantly they have decided to remain in Australia. The Toyota has been very well cared for, is in excellent condition for its age and mileage, and there are no corrosion issues whatsoever. The car has just been serviced, MOT tested and is ready to go. The car comes complete with a full history file, including a copy of the original purchase sales invoice.

“I started my life in Japan in 2016 and began travelling immediately, designated to be shipped to Iquique, Chile where my devoted (future) owners sought me out brand new at the Toyota Showroom in April 2017. Then together we set out really travelling, traversing south and central America: Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Panama, Amazonas, at which point, although the roads were mainly sealed, and without major challenges, my owners lacked fortitude and resorted to car ferries to arrive in Manaus. In no particular order, Belem was followed by a circuit of the Darien Gap, a lawless area lacking in roads, population and infrastructure which made another ferry the only option. One cannot omit mention of Colombia, a fiery, unpredictable nation, or a military coup - in Nicaragua, - or was it Guatemala? and a certain sense of relief at the prospect of Mexico. My left-hand drive made Europe a logical destination, coupled with the convenience of frequent shipping from Veracruz, so hey presto! we landed in Antwerp almost before leaving Mexico. And this is where my story halts temporarily. Some Toyota loving care, DVLA attention, then JH RF61 is reborn as AE66 GXV ready for my next adventure. Will you join me on it?”
