1985 Bentley

This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Classic Sale at the NEC Classic Motor Show 2026 on Sunday the 15th of November, NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT. Estimated price: GBP 20,000 - GBP 24,000.

Finished in Lagoon Blue (ICI9510456) with Magnolia (VM3997) and Light Blue (VM4135) hide, this beautifully presented Turbo R had covered just 19,119 recorded miles at the time of inspection

With only two previous recorded keepers, a father and son, the Bentley remained with the family from first registration until 2023, when it passed to the present custodian

Believed, although not confirmed, to have been purchased from the Bentley stand at the Motor Show, collection was reportedly made from Mann Egerton, Derby Road, Nottingham. The car was later upgraded by Michael Powles Bentley with the twin-headlamp conversion and optional alloy wheels in the 1990s

Diligently maintained throughout its life with 14 Bentley Main Dealer services stamped, the Turbo R remains in superb condition, with everything reported to work correctly, including the recently regassed air conditioning. The original lambswool over mats remain in place

Particularly noteworthy is the continuity of maintenance, with the same mechanic or engineer reportedly looking after the car for the majority of its life, from Mann Egerton to Michael Powles, Bentley Leicester, and latterly Starmans Rolls-Royce & Bentley Specialists, Nottingham

Although MOT-exempt, the Turbo R underwent an inspection on 24/02/2026, passing without advisories. Its original book pack and two keys accompany the car

A rare opportunity to acquire a remarkably low-mileage, well-preserved example of Bentley's celebrated performance saloon, offering low ownership, excellent presentation and an unusually interesting maintenance history

Please note: the cherished registration number 7 VNN will be retained by the present keeper and does not form part of the sale
