Introduced in 1973, the MG BGT V8 combined the familiar GT styling with Rover's lightweight V8 engine, creating one of MG's most desirable grand tourers

This example is finished in Glacier White with a contrasting black vinyl roof incorporating a sliding sunroof, black leather interior and black wheels

Purchased by our vendor in 1985, with just three former keepers. The odometer currently indicates 56,526 miles, having passed 100,000 miles in 1992

Body restoration by MG specialists Brown & Gammons in 1994, followed by the installation of a later 4.0-litre cross-bolted Rover V8 engine in 2000, which has covered approximately 15,000 miles since. New distributors, coils and spark plugs have also been fitted with extensive documentation of work carried out
