1991 ROLLS ROYCE SILVER SPUR

The Rolls-Royce Silver Spur II is a long-wheelbase luxury saloon that represents the pinnacle of early 1990s British craftsmanship. Positioned as the extended version of the Silver Spirit, it added 25.4 cm (10 inches) of pure legroom to the rear passenger cabin, catering specifically to industry tycoons, celebrities, and royalty.

It features a sophisticated hydropneumatic self-leveling suspension system paired with "Automatic Ride Control," an electronic chassis system that adjusts to road conditions in fractions of a second to deliver an incredibly isolated "magic carpet" ride.

The interior is famed for its extreme over-engineering and use of ultra-premium materials. It boasts full burl walnut wood veneers, Connolly leather seating with hand-finished piping, and deep-pile Wilton wool carpets. The expansive rear cabin frequently came equipped with fold-down wooden picnic tray tables, an integrated central armrest, and period-specific luxuries like a Motorola car phone or custom cocktail decanters.

Finished in Royal Blue Metallic with Silverstone Grey Leather and Grey/Blue piping, this immaculate Silver Spur II still presents in astonishing condition. Its overall presentation is commensurate with having been garaged all its life and still showing only 25,532 miles by two fastidious owners. It was carefully cherished by the first owner for fourteen years and then twenty years by the second, with both maintaining correct servicing. Supplied new by Henleys of Chester, it's complete with the original dealer wallet, handbooks, manuals, service book and both keys with fobs.

It cannot be emphasised just how fresh and sharp this elegant Rolls-Royce still appears with a beautiful interior and controls that’s testimony to its careful ownership. The sumptuous upholstery shows very little wear and the wood veneer still has that deep lustre, again probably preserved from a life being garaged. The matching over rugs complements the interior luxury that still holds its own to current Rolls-Royce saloons. The engine bay is just wonderful with pristine paintwork and various plated components that still look immaculate. The Royal Blue bodywork is exceptional and even today this Silver Spur commands a timeless presence that’s difficult to fault.
