Announced in 2012 as an updated version of Mercedes-Benz’s lauded SLS AMG, the SLS AMG GT appeared was almost indistinguishable from its predecessor visually, but beneath the bodywork it offered several important technological upgrades to the platform. Its 6.2-litre naturally aspirated V-8 engine received a 20 bhp power increase over the standard model, while the suspension was reworked with firmer spring rates, and revised gear ratios and gearbox software swapped cogs quicker than ever for a more sporting driving experience. A handful of new optional extras were offered, and the previously optional Bang & Olufsen stereo was made standard.

One of only a handful of right-hand-drive SLS AMG GTs built for the UK market, some period articles reporting as few as 11, this car was completed by the factory on 19 December 2013 and first registered in the UK on 13 January 2014, having been sold new via Mercedes-Benz of Oxford. Finished in Iridium Silver Metallic over an Anthracite leather interior, the car is outfitted with the optional 19”/20” wheel set up, reversing camera, garage door opener, preparation for hands-free telephone, and an interior mounted fire extinguisher.

A summary of the SLS AMG GT’s maintenance history is on file, showing that the car was serviced annually at Mercedes-Benz Oxford from 2015 to 2020, as well as being serviced by Mercedes-Benz of Harrogate in October 2020. More recently, the car received a Service B at Mercedes-Benz of Macclesfield in April 2025, when the odometer read 16,727 miles. Earlier this year, another Service B was carried out by John Haynes Independent Mercedes-Benz Specialists of West Sussex in May. Furthermore, the car has been fitted with wireless Apple CarPlay, which was installed by an official Mercedes-Benz dealer, adding to the overall driving experience.

Today, the SLS AMG GT is showing 19,369 miles from new and presents wonderfully throughout. Benefiting from recent servicing, the car is ready to be driven and enjoyed by its next owner.
