Developed with extensive testing at the Nurburgring, the GT R represents a particularly focused expression of AMGs front-engined sports car. Its 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 delivers 585 PS through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission to the rear wheels, supported by active rear-axle steering, adjustable suspension and a nine-stage traction control system.

The specification of this example is particularly well judged. The satin finish of Selenite Grey Magno contrasts with black AMG Performance forged alloy wheels, while yellow brake calipers identify the desirable AMG ceramic composite braking system.
