The Land Rover 90 arrived in 1984 as the short-wheelbase partner to the 110, succeeding the Series III with coil springs and permanent four-wheel drive with the Defender name following in 1990

Built with Land Rover’s first turbo diesel, the 2.5-litre unit - engine code 19J - introduced in 1986. The 2,495cc four-cylinder produces 85bhp and 150lb/ft of torque, driving all four wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox
