Overview:

I am reluctantly selling my 2007 Nissan 350Z HR GT coupé because we have our first baby on the way and now need something more practical.

The car is finished in G41 Magnetic Black with a black leather interior. It is the desirable later HR model with the VQ35HR engine and six-speed manual gearbox. It remains completely standard and unmodified, including its original RAYS alloy wheels.

I purchased the car on 31 July 2010 and have owned it for more than 16 years. It had three former keepers when I bought it, making me the fourth registered keeper.

History and maintenance:

The car is approaching 87,000 miles and was most recently serviced on 17 August 2026. Its MOT is valid until 30 July 2027.

I have retained the service records, invoices and supporting paperwork for the servicing, maintenance and repairs undertaken throughout my ownership.

Recent and significant maintenance includes:

  • Clutch and clutch slave cylinder replaced at 81,030 miles on 28 September 2023
  • Service completed on 17 August 2026
  • Boot gas struts recently replaced

Interior and equipment:

The black leather interior includes heated seats, air conditioning and the Bose sound system. The heated seats, air conditioning and Bose stereo are all working.

Condition:

The car has been used and enjoyed and is presented honestly. Its condition is consistent with a car approaching 20 years old, rather than that of a restored or showroom example.

The bodywork has age-related marks, and the driver’s door requires repainting. The original RAYS alloy wheels have the bubbling commonly associated with their original finish and would benefit from refurbishment.

The brake pads will require replacement soon, and the car also needs a new set of tyres. These items, together with the condition of the driver’s door and alloy wheels, have been taken into account in setting the asking price.

For completeness, the oil-gallery gaskets have not been replaced. There are currently no known symptoms indicating that replacement is required.

Summary:

This is an honest, long-owned and unmodified example of the later HR GT. Its comprehensive paperwork and more than 16 years in my ownership provide a clear record of the car, while its standard specification makes it a good basis for an enthusiast to use and improve.

The sale is genuinely reluctant and is required only because our first baby is on the way and a two-seat coupé is no longer practical.

Viewings are welcome by prior arrangement. Proof of appropriate comprehensive insurance will be required before any test drive, and I will accompany the driver.
