Launched in 1965 with a Pininfarina styled hatchback body, the MG B GT added real grand touring ability to Abingdon’s sports car and stayed in production until the factory closed in 1980

Built in 1980 and first registered on 01/05/1981, it's finished in Carmine Red with chrome bumpers, bright trim and Minilite-style alloy wheels, the car has a two-tone tan interior with a burr walnut trim and a wood rimmed steering wheel

Power comes from the familiar 1,798cc B Series four-cylinder, fed by twin SU carburettors (a simple, well proven fuel system) and producing around 95bhp when new, through a four-speed manual gearbox

We believe this little GT to have been off the road since 2024 and therefore an element of recommissioning is to be expected before returning to the road

Records show an indicated 89,843 miles at it’s last MOT in November 2023. Only around 8,000 miles added since 2006 with the odometer now indicating 90,698 miles
