The 64kWh battery gives 61.7kWh of usable capacity and an official WLTP range of up to 270 miles. When you are out and about, 135kW DC rapid charging takes the battery from 10 to 80 percent in 35 minutes. It also supports 7kW AC charging and comes complete with a 3-pin charge lead, an additional charge lead and an MG charging cable bag. Inside, you get a 10.25-inch touchscreen with satellite navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and DAB digital radio, paired with clear digital dials. The five-seat cabin features part leather trim, heated front seats with electric driver adjustment, and air conditioning. Manoeuvring is easy thanks to a 360-degree camera, rear view camera and rear parking sensors. On the move, the MG Pilot suite brings adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection and lane keep assist, complemented by automatic LED headlights and LED daytime running lights. Out back, the 363-litre boot includes a parcel shelf and a fitted boot liner mat. First registered in July 2023, this MG4 has passed its inspection checks with flying colours. The traction pack diagnostic, 12v battery health, charge port, charging status, coolant systems and brake efficiency all tested OK, and all tyres have between 5mm and 6mm of tread remaining. It was serviced in September 2026, with MOT until July 2027. Running costs: charging at home on a smart tariff at around 7p per kWh, a full charge of the 64kWh battery costs roughly £4.48 for up to 270 miles of advertised range. That works out at about 1.7p a mile, against around 18p a mile for a diesel car doing 50mpg with diesel at £2.00 a litre, or about £49 for the same 270 miles. Prices vary, so treat these as a guide.
