1999 BMW

Beautifully maintained manual facelift BMW Z3 2. 8 in silver, with 49K miles and a full service history.

The car has been in our family from new, originally belonging to my partner's mother before passing to us around six years ago. Since then, it has been a cherished, garaged weekend car, used sparingly and very well looked after.

It drives beautifully and has had considerable money spent on maintenance and improvements, including recent suspension work and a complete rear brake rebuild within the last six months. Many of the common Z3 niggles have also been addressed, including replacement seatbelt guides and upgraded door pulls.

Fitted with an excellent Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 46 stereo with Bluetooth, DAB+, USB and upgraded Focal speakers. It also comes with the original, unused tonneau cover, original toolkit, wind deflector, both main keys and a spare key. Attractive 15-spoke alloy wheels with tyres in excellent condition.

The soft top operates perfectly, is watertight and has a recently replaced rear window - some of the stitching above the windows would benefit from some attention.

The central locking has recently become inoperative and requires investigation. There are also some minor body work imperfections that would benefit from attention, including some localised rust spots, minor discolouration and paint crazing on both bumpers.

MOT until March 2027.

The car comes with a wonderful collection of original sales brochures and promotional materials from the late 1990s, including the original 1997 Z3 Roadster brochure and specification guides. These have been kept in the family since the car was new and make a lovely addition to its history and provenance.

Overall a lovely, original and well-cared-for example of the desirable six-cylinder Z3. Reluctantly selling because we no longer have a garage to keep it in.
