2024 Alpine

The Alpine A110 R Le Mans was created to mark the centenary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and Alpine’s return to the top class of the world’s most famous endurance race. Limited to a production run of 100 cars, it takes the already uncompromising A110 R and dresses it in a livery and specification drawn directly from that motorsport heritage. It is a fitting tribute for a marque that took overall victory at Le Mans in 1978.

Built around Alpine’s signature lightweight aluminium chassis, the Le Mans sheds mass wherever possible, with carbon fibre used extensively throughout. The bonnet, roof, rear diffuser and engine cover with shark fin are all carbon fibre. The result is a featherweight sports car at just over 1,000 kg, and a power-to-weight ratio that is truly formidable.

At its heart sits a mid-mounted 1.8-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivering approximately 300 horsepower to the rear wheels via a quick-shifting dual-clutch transmission. 0-60 mph arrives in around 3.9 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 170 mph, but it is the way the Le Mans delivers that performance that sets it apart. Normal, Sport and Track driving modes allow the car to be tailored to the road or the circuit.

Outside, the Glacier White paintwork is broken by a blue line running across the bonnet, roof and rear wing, carrying the 24h Le Mans naming. Blue painted A emblems and monograms, carbon and blue exterior flags, Alpine Bleu brake callipers and tinted windows complete the look. The R Aero Kit adds a carbon fibre front splitter and gooseneck rear spoiler on anodised supports for high-speed stability.

Inside, the Titanium Black interior is trimmed with matte carbon fibre and carbon and blue interior flags. Sabelt bucket seats with grey stitching carry a blue ‘24h Le Mans’ embroidered into the headrests, paired with Sabelt 6-point safety harnesses. Alpine logo floor mats with matching stitching, electrically adjustable heated folding mirrors, the Focal audio system and the Storage Package ensure everyday usability is never compromised.

Number 70 of 100 and barely used, this is a car that will rarely come to the market. Created for the centenary of Le Mans and scarce even within the UK, it is firmly collector territory and a direct link to Alpine’s endurance racing story. Ready for its next custodian.
