2014 Volkswagen Golf R 2.0 TSI 4Motion
77,000 Miles | 2.0 Petrol | Manual | 3 Doors

MANUAL. 3-DOOR. 4MOTION.

This is exactly the sort of Golf R enthusiasts tend to look for.

NJ14 OJZ is a 2014 Golf R finished in Blue, with 77,000 miles, the 2.0 TSI petrol engine, manual gearbox and Volkswagens 4Motion all-wheel-drive system.

The big appeal with this particular car is the combination. Its a 3-door manual Golf R, which gives it a more focused, old-school hot-hatch feel than the more common five-door DSG cars you tend to see.

It also sits on Michelin tyres, which is a really nice confidence point and exactly the sort of detail you want to see on a performance car like this.

The manual gearbox keeps you properly involved, while the 4Motion system gives the car the grip and traction that helped make the Golf R such a strong all-round performance hatch.

And because its still a Golf underneath, youre not giving up everyday usability to get that performance. Youve still got five seats, a usable boot and a cabin that works perfectly well for daily driving.

At 77,000 miles, this one has covered sensible mileage for its age, and the combination of Blue paintwork, 3-door body, manual gearbox, 4Motion and Michelin tyres gives it a much more interesting specification than a standard Golf R advert can really convey.

At £13,495, this is a strong-value way into a proper manual Golf R and one that feels a little more special than the usual DSG five-door examples.
