ROVER MG ZT (05MY) V8 SE 260 2005

Mg zt 260 SE
Metallic black, full SE specification PLUS powerfold mirrors, harman kardon, memory driver seat and electric rear window blind.
Working sunroof and sunroof blind with modified sunroof drains and MG7 rear lights (have original ZT lights too). Redesigned 260s heater hose also fitted. It also has the must-have Accufab throttle body, K&N filter and X-power exhausts, which apparently when combined, release another 11 BHP minimum.
One of the highest specification ZT 260s you'll find.
55,300 miles plus service history and wallet full of receipts.
HPI clear and bodywork dent and ding free. There is an unusual and quite cool integrated front lip spoiler that has a minor crack - but apart from that, with a weekend polish, she looks fantastic.
I find myself in very unfamiliar territory in selling a car that needs some minor work - Here's why I've priced it as I have:
MOT expires 14th April
Tax expires end of April
Due a service now.
Horn (improved twin air type) suddenly stopped working.
Requires rear tyres (one is bald)
Requires front disks and pads as there is a judder under braking - were like this when I purchased the car and been advised it is either the common warped disks or pad material on disk face. I was told not to worry until the next service, which is due now.
Driver mirror glass and case broken (my fault for not using the powerfold when I parked up!) Powerfold and frame ok - just needs glass and painted mirror cap.
Rear wheel locking bolts were put on too tightly by a previous owner tyre fitter and key no.12 sheared by my tyre fitter in trying to remove them. There is slight scratching to the n/s rear alloy by my tyre fitter in trying to remove the bolt and failing. Realistically, it needs a specialist or someone who knows what they are doing to remove the locking bolts to enable the tyres to be replaced. I also have a box of spare security bolts and a spare handbrake cable.
I have a job starting in South America early next month, so I do not have the time to sort this before I go.
One of the greatest sounding V8s you'll ever hear, and if you're up for a bit of work you can turn this car around and be quids in as they are now starting to appreciate in value.
Bought it for £6,400 6-months ago.
Best offer over £4,000 secures this car.
The car needs to go, or it will be put on SORN and dealt with later in the year on my return.
