The BMW M3 CSL is BMW's finest creation to many and values have risen considerably in the past 11 months due to cars either being written off, sold abroad or tucked away in car collections around the world. The CSL which completed the fastest lap of the Nurburgring, where it was fettled and honed, was a totally standard example with no options in any way for maximum weight saving. So the drive there and back would be slightly warmer with no aircon and maybe a touch musicless with no stereo.....or even a touch dim with no xenon's to help you home in the dark and lastly with a graze on your rear bumper for having no parking sensors ;( But however this is the way BMW intended the car to be and with a weight difference of over 40Kg from a fully spec'd Xenons, Aircon, Stereo, and Park sensors. The result is a faster car from standard.

Ive now been informed by the nice people on the CSL register that there were in fact only three cars with no options atall and one of those has been crashed making this slightly rarer than I was told.

This example has been kept in a dehumidified 400 year old converted car storage barn along with some of the greatest cars ever made including a SWB Quattro Sport acquired from new, Porsche 2.7 RS amongst other rare exotica.

I supplied this example 4 years ago to possibly the biggest car enthusiast of all of us who is in to his 80's with a car collection that makes me go weak at the knees whenever I think of it.

The car does in fact come with its original CSL alloys which as most people don't know ( including some other specialist CSL dealers !!!!! ) were available as an option above the normal style 67 polished alloys.

I have pictures of where the cars been stored since 2010. I still know the previous owner when I bought the car and there was only one before that as it was pre-registered by BMW when it was first registered so has had three drivers in total 4 is you count BMW who were the first although they did no miles in it.

I believe the CSL's which will be worth the most money in years to come will be the cars made how BMW intended them to be meaning this is a very rare opportunity to purchase on of the rarest and best cared for CSL's in the country.

This car also benefits from being a 54 plate car meaning its been on the road for a year less time than the majority of 53 plates and its still under BMW 10 corrosion warranty.

Original paintwork and easily one of the best CSLs I have seen.
