Eunos Roadster

For sale is our 1993 Eunos Roadster 1.8i. The car has done 160,000km (99,000 miles).

We acquired the car in January 2011 and have thoroughly enjoyed using the car and maintaining it. I have completed numerous modifications to ensure the car looks fresh and drives as well as it can.

Modifications:

TA Tachnix coilovers (covered 8,000 miles)

All arches professionally rolled

Upgraded speaker system

OEM front lip spoiler

3DSM alloys (with sourced Mazda badges)

The car has been fastidiously maintained in our ownership. There was rust present on both sills when we purchased the vehicle. We had this repaired by a reputable body shop and had the car wax oil under-sealed. Unfortunately the rust is just beginning to show through again (as shown in pictures). In July 2013 one of the coolant hoses let go (with an almighty bang!). Further diagnosis showed damage to the head gasket. The car went to a local specialist who carried a full head repair. This involved the cylinder head being sent away to be skimmed, new head gasket fitted, new water pump, thermostat, hoses and injector seals. Replacement of cambelt and tensioners, radiator flush and new radiator cap. This work was carried out a cost of £1330.

The car has been faultless since this work was completed.

The roof is in very good condition. Although there are two small holes (where the mechanism rubs on the frame), it is still completely watertight. The rear window is in good condition. The car is fitted with Uniroyal Rainsport 2 tyres all round with plenty of tread remaining.

There is a lot of service receipts and history, including the original log book (stamps and receipts written in Japanese). MOT expires in mid November 2014 and is taxed until June 2014.

We would dearly love to keep the car for the impending summer but with 2 other cars cluttering up our driveway the roadster has to go and spring/summer is the right time to sell.

Because of the extensive work recently carried out the car the price is listed at £1400. Offers will be considered.
