2008 Subaru

Fantastic car with astonishing performance but utterly practical and spacious. For someone who wants the perfect combination of family car with the fun and performance of an Impreza this is it !

60,000 miles, MOT til April 15 and taxed til May 15 (as long as the sale goes through very near the asking price )

Manufactured in June 2007 and Imported into UK in Feb 2008. This is the facelifted model with STI bodykit

At time of import the car was upgraded to full 'Lichfield' Spec at Powerstation Tuning In Gloucestershire. Full data sheets available of the current map running at 1.25 bar with a 3" Miltek exhaust.

The car is real fun to drive and has been absolutely reliable. I've had no issues with it at all and use it daily to and from work

I fitted a full set of Vreiderstein winter tyres last Autumn and have left them on because of the phemomenal grip and hardwear they offer. They're still virtually as new.

There's also a totally unused Detachable Witter towbar which I had fitted last year. It was intended for a bike carrier but I ended up using the roof rails instead. Still in as new condition - I can guarantee I've not used the car for towing in any form so no worries re clutch etc.

It continues to have a full service history at reputable dealers and the timing belt was changed at 45000 miles.

I'll be having a final service completed this week regardless of sale so the new purchaser will have no expenses other than general running for the next 7000 miles or so.

Insurance costs me about £350 fully comp - ( I guess I count as a 47 year old boring driver with a clean licence !)

I've driven The Fozz sensibly and have never tracked or raced it.

Absolutely no rust anywhere

Faults known to me:

A couple of very minor indentations on the bonnet where I had a disagreement with a pigeon over the winter and a similarly minor indentation on a roof rail where I knocked it with bike while loading up. Both of these could very easily be sorted out but I never notice them day to day and I don't want to cover anything up for the sale and raise eyebrows..They're each about the size of a 5p piece and haven't broken the paint finish.

I'm only selling because My oldest son is about to start learning to drive and this isn't exactly the ideal first car for a learner....!

We need to sell to raise funds for a more basic car and also to make room on the front drive.

I'm absolutely happy to show prospective purchasers the car in detail; Any inspection is welcome. I will happily take purchasers on an extended test drive with the vehicle started from cold.

Really sorry but I'm not willing to sell or even speak to overseas purchasers and will only release the car on full clearance of cash or bankers draft with my bankers.
