I’m the 3rd owner purchasing the car in Oct 2009 having covered only 21,250 miles in 6 years. The car was totally standard, mint and never tracked by the previous owners. I’ve only done three track events in it, two at Spa and one at the Ring, the last in 2011.

MODIFICATIONS:

• AP Racing brake calipers, 6 pot front, 4 pot rear. Just had a full rebuild at a cost of £700 with new seal kits and bleed nipples. As new and repainted in Giallo Modena yellow with black AP Racing text and ceramic coating for added protection and ease of cleaning.

EXTERIOR:

Immaculate paintwork with superb self-healing Paintshield protection film on front bumper, bonnet, front wings, doors and wing mirrors. No dents or stone chips whatsoever! Only ever professionally detailed or snow foamed, and hand washed/waxed by me. Whilst the brake calipers were being refurbished, the inside of the wheel arches were treated to a thorough clean and coated with Chemical Guys Bare Bones to repel road grime.

The car’s had no accidents except for front bumper replacement in 2012 after my wife reversed into it in the drive! It was a low speed impact but enough to crack the bumper, which the insurers deemed could not be repaired. There was also some tiny damage to the lip of the bonnet under the kidney grill, which resulted in the bonnet being repaired and fully re-sprayed. The new bumper came pre-painted from the factory. The work was carried out by BMW Guildford, and the Paintshield was re-applied by Paintshield technicians in the workshop after the paint had cured so the paintwork remains showroom fresh.

INTERIOR:

Interior is in excellent condition with steering wheel re-trimmed in January with OEM alcantara. I requested slightly thicker padding, which gives the wheel a much nicer feel and a yellow wheel position marker. I’ll also supply brand new car mats that have never been used. The rear view mirror glass was replaced in October 2013 as a precaution against leaking toxic auto-dimming fluid, which causes damage to the interior. The replacement glass is a non-leaking version.
