This car really does have everything you could possibly want on a Clio 182, plus a few bits that really make it spot on.
Now all the facts are out of the way, I’m selling the car with a bit of hesitation as it does everything so well! The main reason I’m changing is because I miss rear wheel drive and having a soft top! The Clio is an amazing all-rounder. It returns 33.5mpg easily, which is a combination of commuting and spirited drives occasionally. It has a huge boot and three doors so practicality is fantastic for day to day use. It handles so sweetly it makes the most boring of journeys enjoyable and on top of that I’ve not had a single problem with the car. It just runs like clockwork without any need or want other than the usual tyres, brakes and oil. History wise the cars mileage is made up mainly of motorway miles by the previous owner and A road commuting by myself, so the car always gets well up to temperature and it’s condition is that of a much lower mileage car, which is already low as it is.
Bad Points:
The old cliché of “every car has them”.
There aren’t many but I want to list them for any prospective buyer:
Steering wheel thumb grip on the right hand side has split away for the top inch. The left one is perfect however.
There are a few age related marks on the exterior.
There is one tiny stone dint just under the rear quarter window.
A couple of light kerb marks on a couple of the wheels (not me I hasten to add! )
Given the mileage, history, condition and OEM+ parts, I’m looking for £3195. I'll look at sensible offers too.
The car is driven daily so the mileage will go up slowly.
I should be able to answer most calls but if I cannot, please leave a message or even text me and I’ll come back to you as soon as possible.
Thank you for reading, Will.
