NISSAN 350 z V6 2005

There are a lot of good 350Zs out there, but this is the one to have.

In Kuro black, this has the factory-fitted Nismo body kit, which looks fantastic and gives the car a real purposeful attitude. Next to it, a standard car looks incomplete.

It also has the tax Alezan leather finish, being the best interior for a Z and compulsory for the black models.

The best Zs also have Rays alloys and gold Brembo calipers, present in both cases. Bose stereo and a large speaker behind the driver’s seat. Rear parking sensors, electric folding mirrors, air con and Bluetooth connection.

It has the body kit, but no other modifications – it’s the standard, as meant to be, wonderful car.

Being the 2005 model with 276bhp, it means that the annual road tax is only £290. The 300 and 313 bhp models may be a must for a real Z purist, but for those of us who just like the car, and probably won’t use the extra grunt, original is fine and less money. I am out in the sticks, but Admiral just quoted me £197 for a year’s insurance.

All original documentation and both keys are present, with seven services in the book up to November 2012 (28632) at authorised dealers. I bought the car two years ago with 35000 miles, so it hasn’t done loads since. UK spec, first registered November 2005.

Nothing worrisome came up on the MyCarCheck back in March 2013 (I would have walked away otherwise).

Hankooks on the front with plenty of tread; I put Falkens on the back about 2000 miles ago.

It’s not absolutely perfect; you can see from the photos that one of the alloys has a little chip, the front end has the inevitable evidence of stone chips and the MP3 channel (operated on the cassette option) has stopped working.
