2007 Renault

The time has come to sell my stunning deep black Renaultsport Clio r27 number 133 of 500 made. This one is a little different and comes with a megane turbo engine running 270+ bhp and 300lb torque

I bought the car a couple of years ago pretty much standard and have since done all the work, building and modifying of the car myself other than having RS Tuning map it once built.

The car is in very good condition for a 2007 car. This is no garage queen, there are some stone chips and marks on this car but this is to be expected at this age. In saying that, it is cleaned, washed, waxed and hoovered on a regular basis, wants for nothing and gets looked after extremely well as can be seen with the copious amount of invoices and receipts I have. (I daren’t add them up)

It is an extremely quick car and is definitely how it should have left the factory! Everything runs and works as it should, no faults, it’s extremely well specced with the power to back up the looks.

Oil gets changed every 6-8k / twice a year regardless, belts were done when I rebuilt the megane engine about 8k miles ago and if this wasn’t a second car it wouldn’t be up for sale. It’s been running this engine for over 2 years and been through 2 MOTs with no bothers whatsoever, infact the MOT boys always love a good chat about it when I go in.

After initially being mapped it was quite a bit more bhp but I found it unusable, taken down to a very usable and fun low 270s it is much more in keeping with what the chassis can handle and a lot more fun this way. There are a couple of others running well over 300 now on hybrid turbos if people are still looking for a little more.

Clio 197 6 speed gearbox. Very very quick accelerating through the gears, it’s fantastic. Clutch was replaced at the time of going in 8k ago. At full asking price it will also come with the megane gearbox, driveshafts, clutch, flywheel etc should the new owner prefer the longer gear ratios.

Speedline wheels painted brembo red all with very good bridgestone potenza’s all round. Not a single mark on these wheels, absolutely immaculate

At full asking price it will also come with the standard raider wheels, some kerbing and marks. Tyres are ok but will need replacing soon, perfect for winter the same as I had been using them.

I’ve probably forgot plenty of the spec and I’ll add to it as I can remember. Any serious buyers I have no problems taking out for a drive to let them see what the car is like. I won’t be entertaining test pilots and people who’d just like to have a go in the car. Only buyers with the cash, or those I feel are serious will be allowed to drive it after proof of insurance.

Considering the spec and taking into consideration some of the age related marks, as well as the additional parts and wheels coming with the car my price is £8500. I’ve seen a couple sell cheaper but none that were a limited edition run car or had leather and alcantara recaros let alone the spare set of wheels and gearbox etc
