An extremely well-presented low mileage 928 GTS manual, which for many collectors is the ultimate incarnation of the 928 series.

When Porsche launched the 928 GTS in 1992, they knew it would be the last evolution of 928. Porsche did much to enhance performance and refinement, knowing that its luxury flagship would leave memories with Porsche enthusiasts.

For the GTS, Porsche increased the engine capacity to 5397 cc and added a catalytic convertor, with 8 balance weights instead of 6 to enhance smoothness. This DOHC engine produced 350 BHP and enabled a top speed of more than 170 mph. The GTS engine was smoother and more flexible than its predecessor it quieter, smoother and easier to drive. Changes to the chassis included a wider rear track and larger brakes. Externally, the GTS differed from S4 with its new style of alloy wheels, flared rear arches and a body-coloured rear spoiler.

Supplied by Porsche Cars Great Britain through AFN Chiswick, this vehicle was painted and trimmed by Porsche Cars GB to better-suit the tastes of its owner. The car was in long-term ownership between 1995 and 2012, until it was purchased by the Chairman of Hexagon. It has 17 service stamps in its guarantee booklet, most of those being at Porsche Centre Swindon. It also has many previous MOT’s and invoices for works, and retains its original leather book pack handbooks and spare keys.
