Classic car and bike enthusiasts can expect a great day out at the new London Classic Car and Bike Show this year. Sponsored by Carole Nash insurance, the show runs from 18th – 19th March 2006 and is the definitive event to experience the very best in classic cars and bikes if you are living in or visiting London.

Alexandra Palace, one of the city’s most unique venues, plays host to this year’s show and there will be a host of exciting features that will appeal to all classic car and bike fanatics.

This years Meguiars Concours will see a stellar line up of magnificent European and American vehicles from pre-1950's right up to the 1980's. It offers the opportunity to view rarely seen examples of automotive style, performance and history. These include a 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Convertible, a 1963 Austin Healey Mk11A, 1966 Wolsley Hornet Crayford Convertible and a 1986 Jaguar XJS Cabriolet.

Bike enthusiasts can take a look at some of the nations favourite motorcycles at the Classic Bike Magazine stand where readers have voted for their most loved models through a year long promotion run by Classic Bike magazine. Come and take a look at the Yahama Hl500 Replica, Trident Triton, Suzuki SB125 and the much loved Lambretta and Triumph models.

The show is renowned as much for its exhibitors as it is for its displays. Among the Autojumble and trade stands you can find everything you would ever need to restore your classic car.

If you’re looking for that elusive collector’s piece, then make your way to the Loveridge’s Memorabilia Auction on Sunday, 19 March at 12pm. An amazing array of affordable, unusual and unique collectibles will go under the hammer to the highest bidder. A high drama atmosphere that’s as much fun as a spectator as it is as a buyer.

A welcome new addition to the show is the Loveridge’s Memorabilia Road Show. Visitors are invited to bring along their motoring memorabilia and classic car parts on Saturday, 18 March. Loveridge Agents and Auctioneers will be on hand to give you a free evaluation. Furthermore, the experts can give you an estimate on the value of your car if you just provide them with a description of your motor. You never know you may be holding a fortune in your garage.

Give your car or bike a bit of spit and polish, get it on the road and take part in the classic car convoy. It takes place on Saturday and Sunday morning starting from the legendary Ace Café on the north circular. The drive starts at 9am so make sure you’re there to join in the fun.

Some of the top UK car clubs will be showing off their members’ cars in its full glory. Be sure to visit some of these stands including the TVR Car Club, the Jaguar Enthusiast Club, the Classic Car Register, the Capri Club International to name just a few.
