Summary: Collection of 20+ Classic and Supercars in Wiltshire
Venue:
Details: One week before the Supercar Day at Wilton House...

This Sunday 29 July the Prince Leopold Inn at Upton Lovell hosts a “Classic and Supercars” Day at the Wylye Valley pub, and expects to be visited by car fanatics from across the South West.

The lunchtime event will run from midday to 4pm, and visitors will not only be able to look at some spectacular and very rare cars, but also enjoy a delicious Hog Roast, beer tent, vintage ice-cream stall, and a charity raffle in aid of the Stars Appeal for Salisbury District Hospital.

On Sunday an invited group of at least 20 spectacular supercars and classics will be on show in the car park.

Chris Wood, a partner in the Prince Leopold Inn says “We want to put the Leo on the map. Hence we thought we'd start with a Classic and Supercar day, inviting friends and acquaintances to bring along some really special cars. At this juncture we know we've got a 1953 Jaguar C Type (the type that won the Le Mans 24 hour race in that year) as well as all sorts of Jags, Aston Martins, Ferraris and Porsches.”

Chris goes on to say, “We hope anybody who enjoys cars like these will come to enjoy the display along with everything the pub has to offer: great food, a range of beers and our riverside garden.” For younger visitors the village playground is just a stone’s throw away.

Anyone with a classic or interesting car who is in the area on Sunday is also more than welcome to bring their car(s) down as there will be an allocated space close to the pub to show off cars which turn up on the day!

The event is free entry with plenty of free parking in the village.
