The hugely popular Two Counties Motor Show is set to return to the Rowley Mile Race Course at Newmarket on 29th June 2014 for its 14th year. Described as the premier regional motor show, the organisers, the Cambridge and Newmarket Lions Clubs, say it guarantees a fantastic day out for the whole family.
Dealers who have exhibited at the show previously include Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, Ford, Lexus, Honda, Skoda, and many more and 2014 promises a superb range. An impressive variety of classic cars will be in attendance as always and it will boast a huge range of trade stands.
Family entertainment is always a priority, and in the past has included bouncy castle, go-karting, facepainting and other entertainments. Of course there will also be hot and cold refreshments.
Over the last few years the Two Counties Motor Show has raised over Â110,000 for local charities and this year the organisers hope to significantly add to that tally. This year chosen charities include Street Sports, an organisation which raises funds to involve young people in sport and reduce crime and antisocial behaviour. Last year over Â3000 was donated to Suffolk Carers, enabling several much-needed trips and activities for some of the regionnâ€s young carers. The money raised goes a long way in the chosen causes and the organisers hope to beat last yearrâ€s total.
