Austin Healey 100/4 BN2, Healey Blue & M Specification
Built on 31st December 1955 and dispatched from the Longbridge Austin factory on 7th January 1956 this Healey 100 is a late production BN2 model with the very desirable and later 4-speed overdrive gearbox.
Finished in the sensational Healey Blue Metallic with a Navy interior and Navy carpet this example was restored March 1999. The rebuild included a full body, chassis and interior refurbishment with the engine and gearbox rebuilt later in September 2001 to Le Mans specification with uprated pistons, camshaft and a full overhauled head. The car has been specialist maintained since and has just had an extensive service from ourselves including new front dampers and a full steering overhaul.
This Healey is an absolute joy to drive. Performance is exceptional with a broad wave of torque pushing it along briskly, the steering turning sharply and the brakes and suspension performing as they should.
This 100/4 has covered a little over 11,000 miles since restoration and remains in good condition with some age and minor usage related marks across the bodywork but still remaining attractive. The interior has settled very nicely and remains extremely inviting with great colour to the leather. An excellent club level car and a strong investment as a BN2 in the best colour scheme.
Provided serviced with MOT, large paperwork history file detailing restoration, service history and parts invoices.
