1999 BMW

A great retro car which drives beautifully in truly exceptional condition.

When MOT'd last week the tester commented on how it is in better condition underneath than many five year old cars and will probably go on for many many years to come.

Since purchasing I have spent a lot of money upgrading/renewing various bits and making an already excellent car near perfect.

The car has a full service history, all books and paperwork from the dealer that supplied the car new. All keys and no accidents as confirmed by an inspection (and the original 1999 number plates still on the car from a dealer that no longer exists).

This is the Lux spec so comes with a higher spec than normal.

I had a new steering rack fitted last month as there was a small leak. Hunter alignment was then carried out to ensure perfect handling.

Various bushes etc were also renewed.

The car has a full service history with four green lights remaining until next one (1000 miles covered since last service).

Plenty of life in brakes and tyres all round.

MOT until September 2018 (just done with no advisories)

Sony MP3 USB system fitted with Focal speakers all round - fantastic sound better than B&O in my SL! Professionally installed and completely stealth, there are no outward signs of the fantastic system fitted.

Auto box shifts smoothly and the car is very economical. It has the fantastic 1990s BMW build quality and as the pictures show is in absolutely excellent condition. No noises or creaks, completely solid German quality and wonderful sharp steering so much nicer than more modern cars that feel lazy in comparison.

This car is totally solid and reliable, it sits on the motorway with not a squeak or shake, and genuinely has one of the best sound systems you will hear in any car at any price. That alone makes it worth the money.

The asking price is way less than the actual amount it owes me. If it doesnt sell I will park it up and just keep it. Garaged every night and fully HPI clear of course.
