2007 HONDA S2000 ROADSTER Just 16k Miles - Low Owners & Great History

With just three previous keepers, the car was imported from Cyprus by Castle Motors of Liskeard after it had been bought out there under the BFPO scheme. The vendor explains this was done on behalf of a Mr. Robert Eddy on the 4th of September 2007 with just 400 miles under its belt - and there’s a copy of the original advert to prove it.

Mr. Eddy kept it for just under a year before selling it to a Mr. Simon Brundell in 2008. Mr. Brundell kept the car for the next seven years, at which point it passed to the current owner.

In the care of the vendor since November 2015, it was judged ‘Best Standard Car’ at the London S2000 Summer Meet of 2017, organised by the UK S2000 Members Club. It’s also been taken to Center Gravity, our favourite geometry specialists, to have them weave their magic, and, as a 2006 car, the chassis also benefits from the optional Vehicle Stability Assist.

This, along with fresh matching tyres and a wonderfully complete service and maintenance record means that this S2000 is one of the best, fighting fit, and ready to thrill and delight its new owner this summer.

While the Indy Yellow Pearl paint finish was anything but a boring choice by the Honda’s first owner, the rest of this section is going to be very dull. With just 16,400 miles on the clock and three fastidious owners, the coachwork is simply unblemished, immaculate and in need of nothing.

Except for the rear bumper, which has a minor parking dink in it. Very minor.

Apart from that, it’s flawless. Immaculate. Stunning. It needs nothing other than to continue to be stored inside and polished regularly. (And that does not mean using a drive-through car wash. No, not even a hand wash…)

The ten-spoke, 17-inch OE alloy wheels are immaculate. Actually, when we say ‘immaculate’ that’s by the standards of ordinary car folk but this car hasn’t been owned by ordinary car folk, and further proof (if that were needed) that they’re way more fastidious than 99% of the rest of us comes by way of the brand new, genuine Honda alloy wheel that comes with the car to replace the very slightly scuffed nearside rear…

Of course they’re shod with matching Michelin Pilot Sport 4 XL tyres.

The electrically powered black fabric roof folds as it should, and seals tightly when it’s raised, offering the owner the best of all worlds. It is, of course, unmarked and free of anything so vulgar as rips, tears or other damage. The S2000 also comes with a natty little tonneau cover to tidy it up when it is furled.

Rear bumper aside, the only other work to do is to straighten the rear number plate, which is wonky. #firstworldproblems, eh?
