1995 Jaguar

For sale my lovely XJR with the bulletproof straight-six, 325bhp engine. If you're looking at this advert then you'll understand the significance of the first XJR and the scarcity of this model being the launch colour.

Bought last summer from a Jaguar Drivers' Club member, this is a very well sorted example. For sale due to lack of use and as I am losing storage I have been gradually selling off my modest collection of cars.

Currently a smidge under 120k miles, with less than 600 miles covered since its last MOT, where it received no advisories. The current test runs until 23rd August 2018.

Huge A4 folder of history and all original handbooks in original wallet. Thousands upon thousands spent at specialists over the years to include: timing chain, headgasket etc all replaced, and the transmission has been rebuilt with a new torque converter.

It's been painted to a good standard in recent years. Not without its imperfections as this isn't a concours car, just a very good yet useable example that always turns heads and starts conversations. I can find no rust. The underside has also been taken care of in recent years and carefully waxoiled.

It drives absolutely beautifully. Pulls extremely well. Brakes etc are all good with no suspension clonks, smoke, shuddering etc. Gets up to temp quickly and the needle doesn't waver. Tyres are all nearly new and matching.

The only thing left is the interior. Someone has tried to restore it using leather dye and hasn't done a very good job.
