I bought the car fully built from a guy in Manchester who used it as a race car. The car was in good overall condition but wasn't built to a road legal spec. This is going back to early 2012.
When I got it back to my garage I stripped the whole car down, the only thing not removed was the engine. I rebuilt it to IVA standard including rewiring most of the car and using a lot of new parts over a period of around 2 years. I put the car through IVA in July 2014. The car was then on the road in September 2014.
The car is in good condition and I've spent a lot time looking after it. I've only done around 1500 miles since it was road registered. However there are a couple of small marks in the body and the bonnet has a couple of cracks in the gel coat. Engine oil and diff oil where changed last April (approx 500 miles ago) and the brake and clutch fluid has just been changed. Mot'd until the end of October 2018, tax is £145 per year and its very cheap to insure.
