Launched at Goodwood back in 2015, the 3-Eleven was the company’s quickest and most extreme series production car ever. The Lotus 3-Eleven utilised an all-new lightweight composite body, and a bespoke chassis based on the proven Lotus design of extruded and bonded aluminium sections. Add Suspension that is made up of lightweight double wishbones front and rear, with adjustable Eibach springs with Ohlins dampers, lightweight 18- and 19-inch (front/rear) forged aluminium wheels, Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres, and AP Racing four-pot calipers and 332mm discs, you end up with a car that was simply designed to deliver an undiluted driving experience, whether on track or road.

Jean-Marc Gales, Lotus’ chief executive officer at the time, said of the 3-Eleven: ‘this car is a giant slayer, capable of embarrassing far more expensive rivals. It condenses our engineering know-how into one, hard-core package, and is so focused that it won’t suit everyone. This is a perfect demonstration of the faster and lighter concept, something which will be crucial to all Lotus cars in the future.’

This 2 owner, Road Specified car was originally purchased as an investment car back in November 2016.
