2000 Lotus

Selling my metallic black ( B13 ) S1. I am only its second owner. Julian Thompsom being its first, he was working for Jaguar when he ordered it. He ordered a standard S1, but made to look like a 111S, ie, front clam and headlamp covers, clear indicators, the nicer seats, OZ wheels and tyres, plus a stainless steel handbrake, I have the Lotus Certificate of Vehicle Provenance. He ordered through Lotus HQ rather than a dealership. I bought it with 1100 miles on the clock on 20/03/02, it has now reached 54345, as of today. It has a full service history , and all receipts, even every petrol receipt. It is not being sold with the current number plate, but should get its original plate back, and I still have the old plates, with Lotus Cars Ltd under the X641 XPW. Belts done 05/09/16, with car booked for an A service with Maidstone Sports Cars on 14/08/17. MOT is due by 30/11/17, with no advisories last year at 50292 miles ( 07/11/16 ). 2 new rear AD08 September 2016, battery 30/11/15, downpipe and stainless steel silencer 24/11/14, Gaz Monotube dampers and shocks from Elise-Shop ( all round )15/10/14, front and rear OZ wheels plus tyres for offside March 2014, 2 new front Yokos 25/11/13, discs and pads 18/11/13, all wheel bearing done, the last one on 12/11/12. Front clam and doors re-sprayed 08/02/11, that was a clam off job, so as to heat set the paint, and now the car has very limited stone chips, ( that paint job was done because of too many stone chips, and some nice person had clipped the NSF of the clam and there was a crack and stress lines over the NSF wheel arch, the fibre glass repair is faultless ). The car has NEVER been on the track, but is driven fast on the roads. I have photocopy of the old V5, showing Julian's name on it. The car is driven year round, because it is so much fun, but it done live in a heated garage. It has no micro blisters. It is a beautiful car and it regularly gets its photograph taken by strangers when it is parked in Rye. Julian has only recently bought another Elise S1. As already stated, this is the LAST standard UK S1 ever built, with serial No. 2250, 2 more cars, serial Nos. 2251 & 2252 were both shipped to Germany
