1998 Lotus

Esprit GT3, 1998 revision model with updated dashboard, better power steering, better ABS, more eficient wiper, and better ventilation. 52000 miles, black leather comfort seats,and fully functional air conditioning. Rare model, only 198 GT3s made worldwide, and ultra rare in Chrome Orange with factory confirmed less than 10 right hand drive GT3s remaining in this colour (and no more than 8 of these in the UK). This car is my dream car, it has always been maintained with the intention to keep forever. It had £5000 spent less than 1000 miles ago with many new parts including all belts and fluids changed, new stainless steel petrol tanks (£1200) and stainless exhaust manifold (£1200). Stainless fixings are always used whenever possible. This has been the most reliable car I have ever owned, ignore the rubbish you read from people who have never owned a late model Lotus. There are not many GT3s left in this condition, it has been loved by all it's owners all but one I have spoken to personally. It has never been a basket case brought back from the dead like so many, and I scoured the country twice over to find it originally. Signed underbonnet by Hazel Chapman and Clive Chapman, Colin Chapman's wife and son, for added collectability. I advertised this last year but withdrew the sale because I loved it too much. However a recent bereavement forces re-assesment of priorities.
